42 nm spherical particle, the complete infective virion of hepatitis B containing a 27 nm core antigen.
dantrolene
Skeletal muscle relaxant that acts by interfering with excitation-contraction coupling in the muscle fibre. It is used in spasticity and other neuromuscular abnormalities. Although the mechanism of action is probably not central, dantrolene is usually grouped with the central muscle relaxants.
dantrolene sodium
1-[5-(p-Nitrophenyl)furfurylidene]aminohydantoin sodium hydrate;a synthetic skeletal muscle relaxant which acts directly on muscle by uncoupling electrical from mechanical events; also, the specific agent for prevention and treatment of malignant hyperthermia.
